DSAMT's Crisis Grant assists in providing one-time, needed expenses for the immediate family of an individual with Down syndrome.  These Crisis Grants were developed as a financial aid support for families that are in desperate need. The application must be completed in its entirety and submitted to DSAMT.  Funds are available upon a first-come, first-served basis and only while funds last.

Covid-19 Grant

For a limited time, DSAMT is offering Crisis Grants of up to $500 to families who live with a individual with Down syndrome and have an immediate financial need as a result of COVID-19.

This grant is specifically designed to help individuals with Down syndrome and their families who are unable to obtain timely help through other social service channels.  Examples of permissible grant uses are:  medicine, heating bills, water bills, food needs associated with illness and/or loss of employment or reduced hours of employment and other expenses, as approved by the DSAMT Board of Directors. The application must be completed in its entirety and submitted to DSAMT.  Funds are available upon a first-come, first-served basis and only while funds last.
