First Annual Zac Stacy NDSS All-Star Clinic

We are inviting individuals with special needs and their families to join us for a day focused on sport, health and wellness! Join the Down Syndrome Association of Middle Tennesse, National Down Syndrome Society, and Zac Stacy, former Vanderbilt and NFL running back, along with other Vanderbilt athletes at the Vanderbilt Recreation Center for our First Annual Zac Stacy NDSS All-Star Clinic.

Zac Stacy, born in Centreville, AL, started every game at running back for the Commodores, putting the finishing touches on the most decorated career ever by a Vanderbilt running back. He ended his senior season with 1,141 yards and 10 TDs on 207 carries, earning unanimous Second Team All-SEC honors. His 1,141-yard rushing total ranked third in the SEC and made him the first Commodore to ever rush for at least 1,000 yards in back-to-back seasons. Stacy was a fifth-round draft pick by the Rams out of Vanderbilt in 2013. After two seasons with the Rams, he was acquired by the Jets in 2015. He graduated with a degree in Special Education and has a younger brother with Down syndrome, Justin.

We will also be joined by Kevin Byard and Tajae Sharpe from the Tennessee Titans! Individuals with Down syndrome of all ages, and other special needs, are invited to attend this day of sports, food and fun! Meet Zac, other Vandy athletes and NFL players as they coach your children through various football drills.

The clinic will be followed by a lunch and a photo/autograph session. Everyone who wishes to participate in the clinic and lunch will need to register as a participant.
Family and friends will have to register as spectators and remain on the sidelines.
